A great success. Again this year Aws Summit in Milan<\/strong> recorded dizzying numbers. Most anticipated event for enthusiasts hosted at the “Super Studio Group” of\u00a0via Tortona more than 1500 people from all over Italy and Europe for the mega-organized Aws Italia event.<\/p>\n

“Exponential and unstoppable growth<\/em>” are the first words of Luca Giuratrabocchetta<\/strong>, Aws country leader, and Marco Argentini<\/strong>, VP tecnology, who came to Milan from Seattle to explain why it was so successful for technical and specialists to know about Platform functionality and enable customers to be informed about best practices and all new services.<\/p>\n

Dieting numbers<\/strong>. The business of AWS<\/strong> is currently around $ 14 billion in revenue, with a year-on-year growth of 43%. Customers who benefit from cloud infrastructure every month are millions.<\/p>\n

“In 2014 – said Argenti – cloud was the new normality. In 2015, it was the tool with which companies took control of their destiny”.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Today it’is a tool that gives “superpowers” based on technological certainty, such as redundant datacenter. Aws has it all over the world, divided by regions”.<\/p>\n

A lot of cases of success illustrated. In our opinion, most intresting was “Qantas,” the largest national and international airline in Australia that leveraged Amazon’s computing power for processing Sydney Dallas\u00a0with an 80%\u00a0savings.<\/p>\n

An other intresting case study was that one of editorial group “L’Espresso”<\/em>. Luigi Lobello, CTO of the company, showed infrastructure schema explaining what their needs and how Aws can meet them in full. Scalable infrastructure responding to perceived traffic peaks: this is the secret of most important editorial group in Italy.<\/p>\n

A lot of sponsor and showroom where you can reach AWS partners who presented their customer’s case scenarios and their solutions on how adopt AWS best cloud solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not only credit for organization, even small “flaws”. The technical sessions were inexhaustible and without demo, many job-seekers missed the opportunity to do training because of lack of labs.<\/p>\n
